The Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes mobile apps
A few months ago, the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes launched two complementary pilgrim apps for those who are coming to Lourdes or those who wish to maintain a link with Lourdes.
Both apps are free of charge and available in 4 languages: French, English, Spanish and Italian.
“Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes” app
The “Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes” app is designed for pilgrims who want to come to Lourdes, so that they can prepare for and organise their visit and find their way around and understand the history of the Sanctuary better once they’re there. It features an interactive map, real-time schedules and practical information.

For finding your way around the Sanctuary:
1. A map to help you find your way around the “domaine”.
2. A list showing all the venues in the Sanctuary.
3. A filtering system enabling you to find the ‘must see’ places, those accessible to PRMs or the services available to pilgrims.
4. Information sheets for each venue when you click on the corresponding map point.
Schedules
Find out the times of masses and other celebrations at the Sanctuary in real time and create your own programme.
Practical information
All the useful information you need to prepare for your visit or be guided on site:
1. Contacts for important services in the Sanctuary: Information Centre, emergency number, etc.
2. Activities to do, accompanied by the Sanctuary or on your own: In the Footsteps of Bernadette, Stations of the Cross, discovery film, etc.
3. To learn more and join a pilgrimage or even become a volunteer or ‘hospitalier’.
New functionality for the 2024 season
For the 2024 season, a new feature is being offered to pilgrimage directors and Hospitality presidents, enabling them to publish their pilgrimage. In this way, by entering their pilgrimage code, pilgrims registered on the pilgrimage can:
– Consult the pilgrimage programme via their phone.
– Take advantage of geolocation and route planning to get to their reserved venues.
– Download their pilgrimage booklet.
“Praying with Lourdes” app
The “Praying with Lourdes” application is designed for all those who want to take a little of Lourdes home with them and experience the great celebrations live every day. You can join the Friends of Lourdes prayer community, offer a prayer intention at the Grotto of Massabielle, have a candle lit online, or have a mass said.
Every day, the app offers you the chance to pray with Lourdes.
With Lourdes every day, just as if you were there. Experience the celebrations live from the Grotto.
Pray for each other
Create your own prayer community with the “Pray with Lourdes” app by inviting your friends to join your private prayer circle.
You can send a notification to a friend or relative to tell them that you’re praying for them, that you’ve lit a candle for them or that you’re thinking of them.
