‘Goudji in Lourdes’ exhibition
A renowned sculptor and goldsmith, Goudji has devoted his artistic creativity to serving the Church, notably at the Rosary Basilica in the Sanctuary of Lourdes. The diversity of materials used demonstrates the artist’s varied talents and creative versatility. Learn more about Goudji’s works in a unique way, through a selection of his pieces as well as stunning photographs by Lourdes-based photographer Laurent Etcheverry: an altar adorned with eight blue columns; an ambo bearing the Archangel; Christ in Glory; silver candle holders; and more.
The exhibition is located at the new Historical Resource Centre, Avenue Monseigneur Théas, opposite the entrance to the Crypt and at the entrance to the Espélugues Stations of the Cross. Admission is free from 9am to 12 noon and from 2pm to 5pm.
And for those who want to take home a souvenir, the exhibition catalogue is on sale at the Grotto Bookshop, the Sanctuary’s official gift shop.
