I WOULD LIKE TO BE A VOLUNTEER AT THE SANCTUARY, WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS,<\/strong><\/span>
\u2022 To be aged 18 or over,<\/span>
\u2022 To possess good physical and social aptitudes. Take note, there is a lot of walking involved at Lourdes.<\/span>
\u2022 Accept a variety of work and duty changes according to the needs of the Sanctuary.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

WHEN CAN I COME AS A VOLUNTEER AND FOR HOW LONG?\"\"<\/span><\/strong>
\u2022 Volunteering period: Between 2 April 2026 and 30 October 2026. <\/span>
\u2022 Length of stay: Minimum 1 week to a maximum of 2 weeks.<\/span>
\u2022 Arrival is possible only between Sunday and Thursday. No arrivals on Fridays and Saturdays.
<\/span><\/p>

VOLUNTEERING, WHAT DOES IT INVOLVE?<\/span><\/strong>
\u2022 One day of training before starting your assignment
\u2022 A maximum of 6 hours of service per day, which gives you free time for your personal pilgrimage,
\u2022 One rest day a week.
<\/span><\/p>

WHAT ARE THE DUTIES?<\/span><\/strong>
\u2022 Welcoming and providing information to pilgrims,
\u2022 Pastoral activities,
\u2022 Managing crowds,
\u2022 Assisting with Liturgical services (sacristy, flowers, sewing, etc.),
\u2022 \u2026<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

WHERE CAN I SLEEP AND EAT? WHAT MUST I PAY?<\/span><\/strong>
(If and when your application has been accepted by the International Volunteer Center)<\/span><\/p>

\u2022 Accommodation can be booked, at the volunteers accommodation \u2013 The House of \u201cMartha and Mary\u201d (which is within the Sanctuary), or <\/span>
\u2022 You are free to book your own accommodation at one of the hotels, apartments (Airbnb), or convents in Lourdes, which you must arrange on your own (There are many hotels, guest house, campsites etc.)<\/span>
\u2022 Meals are available at the Sanctuary’s self-service restaurant, or you are free to have your meals at a restaurant at your personal cost<\/span>
\u2022 You are responsible for the cost of your transport, accommodation and meals.<\/span><\/p>

ARE THERE SHARED MOMENTS FOR THE TEAM OF VOLUNTEERS?<\/strong><\/span>
