Lourdes Volunteers

Volunteering at the Sanctuary

Just as Bernadette did, you too can put yourself at Mary’s service, simply and humbly, to welcome pilgrims to the Sanctuary and make their pilgrimage more memorable, with special attention to the “little ones”.
As she asked Bernadette in the third apparition, Mary now asks you to come here and trust in her, because everything else will be given to you:

“Will you do me the honour of coming here for a fifteen days?”

• In the giving of oneself for others
• Being open to differences and international experiences
• In discovering or deepening the message of Lourdes
• In togetherness and Team Spirit
• In welcoming everyone: pilgrims, visitors …
• With the capacity to accept assignments and service changes as needed
• With appropriate technical and pastoral training

At the end of the mission, you will be given a certificate of volunteering.
